Reality of Life and Death, World (Dunya) and Hereafter (Akhirat) in Deen-e-Islam

World and Hereafter in Deen-e-IslamOne day of the many days. There was a man traveling on a trip with his Wife and Kids. And on the way he met someone standing in the roadway. So he asked him: Who are you? He said: I am the money.

So the man asked his wife and kids: Should we ask him to ride with us?

They said together: Yes of course because with the money it can help us if we wanted to do anything and if we wanted to get anything we desired. So they took the Money to ride with them.

And the vehicle continued its way until the man met someone else on the road. So the Father asked: Who are you? He said: I am the high position and power.

So the father asked his wife and kids: Should we ask him to ride with us?

So they all answered together in one voice: Yes of course because with the high position and power we have the ability to do anything we want and own anything we desired. So they took the high position and power with them. And the vehicle continued to finish its trip.

And likewise he met in the same manner many people which give the pleasures and desires of this life, until... They met one person on the way... The Father asks him Who are you? He said: I am Deen-e-Islam (Religion Islam).

So the father, wife, and kids said all together in one voice: No, no this isn't the time, we desire the pleasures of this life and world (Dunya), and the Deen will prevent us and ban us from these things and it will take control over us, and we will be worn-out from being loyal to it and its learning. And the Halal (Lawful) and the Haram (Forbidden), and this thing prayer and that thing Hijab, and this fasting , and and and and and etc, It will be a burden upon us!

But what is certain is that we will definitely return for you to pick you up but only after we enjoy this life and everything in it.

So sadly they left him behind and the vehicle continued its trip.

And out of no where something appeared in the middle of the road. It was a check point in the road and it had a sign saying, STOP!

And they found a man gesturing for the father to get out of the vehicle.

So the man said to the father: The trip has ended as far as you are concerned! And it is upon you to get out and come with me.

The father was shocked with fear and didn't say a word.

So the man said to him: I am searching for the Deen-e-Islam. Is he with you?

Reality of Life and DeathHe answered: No I left him not too far back. So if you can let me go back, I can get him for you. You do not have the ability to go back, your trip has ended and there is no going back now. returning is impossible said the man.

But I have, money, high position and power, My Wife, My Kids, and and and and and and on.

The man said to him: They will not benefit you nor will they protect you in front of Allah (SWT). Not one bit!

And you will leave all of this, and not one of them will help you except for the Deen-e-Islam you know? The one which you left back in the road. So the father asked: And who are you exactly?

I AM DEATH

The one which you were needless of and didn't take into account in your trip!

The father looked at his vehicle and found his wife taking control of it and continuing the trip with all of its passengers but him. And none of them stayed with him, and none of them helped him in any way.

Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh) said: The worse of people is the one who trades his next world for enjoyment of this world, and worse than him is the one who trades his next world for enjoyment of someone else (in this world).

Allah (SWT), the Majestic said: "Say: If your fathers and your sons and your brethren and your mates and your kinsfolk and property which you have acquired, and the slackness of trade which you fear and dwellings which you like, are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His way, then wait till Allah brings about His command: and Allah does not guide the transgressing people." Noble Qur'an (9:24)

Allah (SWT), the Majestic said: "Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then whoever is removed far away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained the object; and the life of this world is nothing but a provision of vanities." Noble Qur'an (3:185)

Allah (SWT), the Majestic said: "And leave those who have taken their religion for a play and an idle sport, and whom this world's life has deceived, and remind (them) thereby lest a soul should be given up to destruction for what it has earned:" Noble Qur'an (6:70)

Regretting on the Day of Judgment in Hereafter (Akhirah) for not following Deen-e-Islam

Regretting on the Day of JudgmentOnce, a group of people were traveling on rocks at night. A voice came from the sky that whosoever picks up the rocks will regret and whosoever doesn't pick up the rocks will regret. Now, the people were confused. How can this be? Whether you pick up the rocks or not, you will regret!

Anyway, some people picked up the rocks and some didn't. In the morning when they reached their homes, they saw that the rocks turned into diamonds. Now, those people who didn't pick up the rocks started regretting saying, "If only we had picked up some rocks." Those people who did pick some rocks also started regretting saying, "Why didn't we pick up more rocks?" Both sides ended up regretting.

Dear Muslims, this same incident will take place with us on the Day of Judgment. Those people who spent their time in useless things will start regretting by looking at those who achieved a great position in Paradise by spending their time in the way of Allah (SWT). Now, those who did achieve a position in Paradise will start regretting by looking at those who did more than them and are higher in status. "Alas! If we had only done more to please Allah (SWT)."

Allah (SWT), the Majestic said: "And could you but see when the guilty shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back, we will do good; surely (now) we are certain." Noble Qur'an (32:12)

Imam Sadiq (as) said: All evil is placed in a house and its key is love for this world. All good is placed in a house and its key is abstinence in this world.

Islam: Death is a Beautiful Gift for a Believer and this worldly life is a preparation for Hereafter

Death is a Beautiful Gift for a BelieverAccording to an old fable, a man made an unusual agreement with Hazrat Izraeel (pbuh) - the angel of death. He told Hazrat Izraeel (pbuh) that he would be willing to accompany him (as though he had a choice) only if Hazrat Izraeel (pbuh) would send him a notice well in advance. The agreement was made. Weeks became months and the months into years. One bitterly cold night, as the man sat alone thinking of his success in life, Hazrat Izraeel (pbuh) tapped on his shoulder. "You are here too soon" the man cried out. "You sent no messenger. I thought we had an agreement!" Hazrat Izraeel (pbuh) whispered "Notice your hair, once it was full and black, now it has streaks of silver in it! Observe your face in the mirror and see the wrinkles. Yes! I have sent many messages through the years! I have kept my part. I am sorry that you are not ready for me but the order of Almighty Allah (SWT) cannot be averted!"

Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh) said: You are not created for annihilation and mortality, but you have been created for survival and eternal living, and it is only by death that you are transferred from this lodging to other housing.

The King and the Poor Man are equal after Death in this World:

There was a king who decided to take a tour of his country. As he passed by different places, everyone rushed to see him. However, while passing by a certain place, he noticed a poor old man who did not pay any attention to the king's arrival and remained engaged in his own activities.

The king went up to this poor man and asked why he did not join the people to see him. The poor man replied, "Before you, there was another king who once passed by this place. Everyone gathered to see him as well. But, few days later he died and was buried in a place nearby. A poor man also died during that time and was buried near the king's grave. After some time, a strong flood passed through that area causing those graves to overturn. As a result, the bones of the poor man became mixed up with those of the king's. We could not differentiate between them any longer. After seeing this, it does not matter to me anymore as to who is a king and who is a beggar. In the end, our home is the same."

Imam Zein elabdin (as) said: The world and its affairs will seem insignificant for the one with great and cleric personality.

Imam Muhammad Bagher (as) said: To recognize the world insignificant is the highest stage of certainty in faith.
